Aisling Bea
Aisling is an Irish-born comedian, who's been performing for quite a while. Her birthplace was in Kildare Ireland on 16th March 1984. The comedian has appeared on QI along with Stephen Fry. Aisling Cliodhnadh (born 16 March 1984) is a stand-up comedian and actress from Ireland. Bea's career began in the year 2011 when she began her career as a comic following her appearance in a few part on Irish and British TV series starting in 2009. Following 2012, she was performing in sketch comedy shows or sitcoms as well as other similar programming. Following her win at the Edinburgh Comedy Awards she began to appear regularly on various panel shows where she has become a fixture. She's a member of 8 Out of 10 Cats since the year 2016 and is one of the most popular contestants on the show's sister show 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. Her parents were Brian O'Sullivan and Helen O'Sullivan. She has an older sister named Sinead. She became only the second female to be a winner of the show So You Think You're Funny in the year 2012. The surname of Bea is in honor of her father who passed away. Aisling Cliodhnadh was born March 16, 1984, in Kildare Town, County Kildare. Bea's father Brian died when he was just three years old. He was an equine vet. Bea wasn't told the particulars of his death away until she turned 13. In 2017, Bea wrote an essay for The Guardian about the suicide of her father's relatives and adopted her stage name Bea in remembrance of him. Bea, along with her older sister Sinead, were raised in the home of Helen Moloney (n e Moloney), a former jockey as well as a teacher at a secondary school. Their parents were both obsessed with racing and horses. Bea began her career as an official guide for tourists at Irish National Stud. But she realized her passion was for doing and not racing.
