Christina Hendricks

Christina Hendricks was an American actress who is best known for her role as Joan Holloway. She played the character in seven seasons of AMC's period comedy Mad Men from 2007-2015. Along with receiving critical reviews, her role on the show garnered six Emmy Awards nominations in the best supporting actress category. The actress has earned recognition throughout her career of two decades for her work in law thriller Kevin Hill, comedy series Another Period and crime drama Tin Star. Her most well-known work is her performances on Drive Ginger & Rosa Lost River Neon Demon Strangers Prey In Night Egg, American Woman and The Neon Demon. Also, she voiced the voices of characters in films like Toy Story 4 Scoob!, Toy Story 4: Up on Poppy Hill and From Up on Poppy Hill. Earlier she began her career as a model. She carried on for a long time before making her acting debut on TV with the anthology program Undressed which premiered in the year 1999. The show gave her her first recognizable role as a character in the comedy drama Beggars and Choosers. Following this, she won praises for her performance in Firefly. Esquire magazine awarded her with the distinction of being the sexiest and the most beautiful American woman in 2010 in their annual poll.
